Before WarnerMedia/Discovery relaxed their policy on the Briscoe's even being mentioned on AEW television Tony Khan put together a tribute show to Jay Briscoe, under the Ring Of Honor banner, after last weeks television taping. The show is now available to watch, on the Ring Of Honor YouTube channel, in its entirety. Last night also saw Mark Briscoe defeat, longtime rival/friend, Jay Lethal on AEW 'Dynamite' in an emotional tribute to late brother. It's good to know that WarnerMedia/Discovery listened to the fans and agreed to let AEW pay a proper tribute, to the Ring Of Honor legend, on their national programming. On Tuesday night, the first annual, 'Champion Of Champions' event was presented by R.A.W CLASH, on the R.A.W Media Twitter platform, and supported by U Don’t Deserve This Beautiful Art!!! The event was dedicated to Jay Briscoe, who tragically passed away on January 17th, and was delayed until 8:38pm, as the original start time was 8pm, with the 38 minutes representing the 38 years that he was with us. There were 5 clashes decided by a 24-hour public voting poll. So, ladies and gentlemen, here are the full results from Tuesday night's 'Champion Of Champions' card - • L.A. Park def. World Singles Champion Mr. Ooh La La, Hijo De L.A. Park and Darko The Super in a 4-Way 'Champion Of Champions' Clash to become the new champion. • Super Crazy def. On January 17th, 2023, Jay Briscoe passed away, after a tragic car accident, at the age of 38. The Wrestling world, from talent to fans, have been paying tribute to the, longtime, Ring Of Honor legend through social media. Jay, alongside his brother Mark, were a huge part of the, post-ECW, independent renaissance with them competing in promotions like Ring Of Honor, ECWA and CZW. Along with wrestlers such as Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, and many more, The Briscoes changed the face of independent Wrestling and made it a viable alternative for both Wrestlers and fans a like. A multi-time Tag Team champion, with Mark, he also became Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight Champion in 2013. Jay was a machine everywhere he went. From ROH to CZW, from Impact to NWA, he always brought his A-game and will be sorely missed by the whole industry.
