Anthem thinks TNA Wrestling is, early 00's, WCW!!! Scott D'Amore's contract terminated!!!
Yesterday it was announced that TNA Wrestling President Scott D'Amore's contract was terminated and that he'd been replaced by someone from Anthem!!! Scott (and originally Don Callis, as well, before he left to join AEW full time) managed to turn TNA/IMPACT Wrestling from a company on the verge of becoming yet another asset to the WWE tape library to a promotion that presented amazing shows and getting them, comfortably, back into the conversation about the Top 3 biggest Pro Wrestling promotions in North America. Anthem made the decision to terminate his contract as they wanted one of their corporate suits in the company's top position for the purpose of merging TNA into it's entertainment division and having the TNA brand more in-line with the parent company (rumoured by the way but sources, close to the situation, have pretty much indicated that this is the reason).
