On Saturday Night, March 29th, Dynamite Championship Wrestling inducted, the legendary, Michael 'Mr. Ooh La La' Houghton into its 'Hall Of Fame' class of 2025!!!  We've said it once, and we'll say it a million times, this man is a staple of independent Pro Wrestling and deserves all the recognition in the world!!!  Another year and another accomplishment for our R.A.W Media brother!!!  From the rest of the R.A.W Media team we want to say a huge congratulations to the man!!!  OOH LA LA...HA HA!!!

The ECWA have been continuing to upload a number of classic Tri-State Wrestling Alliance matches, from the vault, on their YouTube channel, over the last few weeks, ahead of the TWA's upcoming 'One And Done' show on May 3rd at the 2300 Arena!!! Here at R.A.W Media we love nothing more than classic, mid to late 90's, Pro Wrestling 'B' and 'C' shows!!!  There's no greater 'B', and later 'C', show than World Championship Wrestling's 'Saturday Night' from 1997 to 2000!!!  As any true NWA/WCW historians know the show's roots actually date all the way back to 1971 with Georgia Championship Wrestling's self titled show before becoming 'World Championship Wrestling' which was hosted by GCW, WWF (though they didn't last long), Jim Crockett Promotions and WCW, between 1982 - 1992, until the re-branding to WCW 'Saturday Night'!!! What do Rakim, one of Hip-Hop's greatest MC's, and Roni Size, one of DnB's greatest producers, have in common? When WWE announced it's historic deal with Netflix, in 2024, it also spelled the end for the 'WWE Network'.  The network wasn't just home to classic WWE/F content but it was also home to classic WCW content (as well as other promotions such as ECW) which WWF/E purchased in 2001.  Fans of WCW content were obviously disappointed about the news and, presumably, WWE heard them!!!  WWE have now launched an official WCW YouTube channel that'll act as a sister channel to the, absolutely incredible, 'WWE Vault'!!!  The channel will see full WCW matches, Pay-Per-View's and episodes of 'Nitro' and 'Thunder' uploaded!!!  This is great news for fans of WCW and clearly shows that the company still has a strong fan base even two decades after it closed its doors!!!  Check out, and subscribe, to the channel here -  WCW on YouTube

From 1998 to 1999 WWE (back then WWF) had a television show called 'Super Astros' that featured a mix of established luchadors and, underutilised, WWF stars (mostly from the companies 'Light Heavyweight' division) that was aimed at the promotions Latin American audience!!!  The show is, unfortunately, a forgotten footnote in the promotions history (evidenced by its extremely short run) but looking back at the talent showcased it's a real shame that the programme is so overlooked especially with how highly WWE regards luchadors nowadays!!!  R.A.W Media have put together a playlist of some of the shows best matches in the hopes that it might highlight the fact that WWF/E had the opportunity to showcase the 'Lucha Libre' style way before names like Rey Mysterio or Penta came along!!!  Check out the playlist here -  The Best Of WWF 'Super Astros' (Playlist)

This time around I'm featuring a legend of the Jersey, Channel Islands, Hip-Hop scene Bean Lebouc (formally known as B-Eazy).  Whether he's spitting fire verses or producing masterpieces with his instrumentals he will always deliver with top notch artistry.  I have been a fan of his for over a decade now watching his journey from an artist to a producer to a blogger and so much more.   From stepping into the ring, for nearly four decades, to stepping into the music arena independent Pro Wrestling legend, and R.A.W Media's very own, Michael 'Mr. Ooh La La' Houghton will be launching 'Ooh La La Records' on the Bandcamp platform!!!  The Bandcamp exclusive label is set to officially launch over, the always high profile, 'Wrestlemania Weekend' on April 18th!!!  To kick start the launch, North Carolina based, DeckHead Records will be re-releasing UnXpectedBeatz second album 'UnXpected Package 2: The 2nd Delivery' alongside a list of projects previously available through 2300 Music (which quietly closed its doors back in February)!!!  The label is yet another title under the legendary Mr. Ooh La La's belt!!!  OOH LA LA...HA HA!!!
