Scott D'Amore recently made his, greatly anticipated, return to the world of Professional Wrestling with the announcement, and revival, of Maple Leaf Wrestling!!! Now under the name Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling the Canadian based promotion is looking to bring further excitement to an already pretty interesting, and jam packed, industry. What makes MLPW one to watch though is Scott's phenomenal history within the business (especially his incredible run heading up Impact/TNA Wrestling recently from 2017 until the beginning of 2024) as well as the promotions own amazing history. Maple Leaf has had history with both Jim Crockett Promotions and the WWF, throughout the 70's and 80's, and is a well established, and recognised, name within Canada's Pro Wrestling landscape. Yesterday it was announced that TNA Wrestling President Scott D'Amore's contract was terminated and that he'd been replaced by someone from Anthem!!!  Scott (and originally Don Callis, as well, before he left to join AEW full time) managed to turn TNA/IMPACT Wrestling from a company on the verge of becoming yet another asset to the WWE tape library to a promotion that presented amazing shows and getting them, comfortably, back into the conversation about the Top 3 biggest Pro Wrestling promotions in North America.  Anthem made the decision to terminate his contract as they wanted one of their corporate suits in the company's top position for the purpose of merging TNA into it's entertainment division and having the TNA brand more in-line with the parent company (rumoured by the way but sources, close to the situation, have pretty much indicated that this is the reason).  If that is indeed the reason for Scott's firing then why couldn't Anthem mer...
