NWA's 'Crockett Cup' 2023 (Results + Recap)
The National Wrestling Alliance held it's annual, two-night, 'Crockett Cup' event in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and it was broadcast live on FITE TV on June 3rd and 4th.
NWA owner Billy Corgan announced the return of the 'Crockett Cup' at the NWA's '70th Anniversary Show' in 2018.
The original 'Crockett Cup' was ran by Jim Crockett Promotions, from 1986 - 1988, however it was discontinued after Ted Turner purchased JCP and renamed it the Universal Wrestling Corporation (shortly after under the more commonly known name WCW) in October 1988.
Previous 'Crockett Cup' winners are The Road Warriors (1986), The Super Powers (1987), Sting & Lex Luger (1988), Villain Enterprises (2019) and The Briscoe Brothers (2022).
