When WWE announced it's historic deal with Netflix, in 2024, it also spelled the end for the 'WWE Network'.  The network wasn't just home to classic WWE/F content but it was also home to classic WCW content (as well as other promotions such as ECW) which WWF/E purchased in 2001.  Fans of WCW content were obviously disappointed about the news and, presumably, WWE heard them!!!  WWE have now launched an official WCW YouTube channel that'll act as a sister channel to the, absolutely incredible, 'WWE Vault'!!!  The channel will see full WCW matches, Pay-Per-View's and episodes of 'Nitro' and 'Thunder' uploaded!!!  This is great news for fans of WCW and clearly shows that the company still has a strong fan base even two decades after it closed its doors!!!  Check out, and subscribe, to the channel here -  WCW on YouTube

The WWE Vault drops another outstanding compilation mixtape this time in the form of classic Terry Funk matches, promos and found footage!!!  This mixtape is literally 4-hours of Funk footage from his tenures in WWF, WCW, ECW and other promotions over his storied career!!!  This is real treat for those, like us, who miss the Pro Wrestling legend, who passed away in 2023, and everything he did for the business!!!  There will NEVER be another Terry Funk!!!  Watch the mixtape here -  WWE Vault Presents Terry Funk: 4-Hours Of Funk Mixtape (Video)

The WWE Vault's YouTube channel strikes again with a dope, 35-minute, mixtape compilation of rare dark matches!!! Featuring the likes of PCO, 'Dr. Death' Steve Williams, Low-Ki, The F.B.I and more!!! The only things missing from this is Kurt Angle and Owen Hart's dark match, which was shortly before Owen's passing in 1999, and Earthquake's return (to a HUGE pop) in 2001!!! The WWE Vault's YouTube channel has done it again!!! Whilst WWE's relaunch of ECW, in 2006, was considered a huge failure, by fans of the original, the first few months of the brand did have a few positives within it. One of those was the ECW brand's return to the originals home of Philadelphia or, more specifically, the 'ECW Arena'!!! On June 24th, 2006, the building, on South Swanson Street, once again reverted back to the 'ECW Arena' by actually hosting an ECW branded event!!! Featuring a mix of originals such as Rob Van Dam, The Sandman, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer and more) and newer talent on the ECW brand such as CM Punk, Kurt Angle, Big Show and Mike Knox!!! The video also has interviews with wrestlers and fans, before the event, such as Justin Credible, Little Guido, Francine and, the ECW legend himself, 'Hat Guy'!!! The WWE Vault continues to be the gift that keeps on giving for the Pro Wrestling community!!! The Vault will be celebrating all things ECW, on their YouTube channel, and from the preview it doesn't look like its going to disappoint!!! Paul Heyman tells us all about what to expect from 'ECW Week', during the video, and it looks like it'll be a mix of classic matches and interviews, with ECW legends, however the one that caught our attention was the, previously unseen, match between Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle from WWE ECW's June 2006 show at the ECW Arena!!! The June 2006 show was the only time that WWE's version of ECW visited the Arena so this footage is absolute gold especially as RVD was ECW Champion, at the time, and Kurt Angle was doing his awesome extreme shooter gimmick!!! The WWE Vault YouTube channel really is the gift that keeps on giving!!! This time around we are treated to a nice little, hour long, mixtape of some of WCW's wildest brawls from their Hardcore division that reigned from around mid '99 to early '01!!! Though the concept of a Hardcore division was one blatantly taken from the success of WWF/E's (who in fairness stole theirs from ECW) WCW did have a fair few memorable moments with theirs as well!!! They even had former ECW talent on board like The Sandman (or Hardcore Hak during his WCW stay), Mikey Whipwreck, Bam Bam Bigelow and Terry Funk alongside their own stars such as Brian Knobs, Norman Smiley, Crowbar, Fit Finley and more who, to be fair, weren't really doing much else in the company during this time!!!
