So, ladies and gentlemen, today marks the 5th anniversary of R.A.W Media!!!  To celebrate the occasion we're going to take a little trip down memory lane and look back at five pivotal moments, in our history, that made R.A.W Media into what it is today!!!  5. United Elementz Media joins Bout Dat Online (2018) - This was a pivotal moment in the history of R.A.W Media because if it hadn't of joined Bout Dat Online, under it's previous name of United Elementz Media, in early 2018 then the brand would have never of had the opportunity to branch out beyond the world of Hip-Hop/Rap and into the world of Professional Wrestling as well. September 8th, 2024, will mark the end of United Elementz time as an active, online based, brand as their main group hub, on Facebook, will officially close after over a decade on the platform.  United Elementz Network's Bandcamp closed, back on June 23rd, whilst the Mixcloud and Soundcloud platforms were quietly closed the week before. These closures marked the end of United Elementz, 10 year, run as an online music distributor.  The United Elementz team have said "We feel that United Elementz as an active, online based, brand, has had it's time and, to be totally honest, it's had a pretty decent run of supporting artists, DJ's, Graffiti Artists and Breakdancers, over the years, however the brand's initial purpose of getting local individuals, from Hip-Hop's four core elements, to network hasn't been present for a number of years now and without that in place we didn't see any need for the name to continue under that model".  The p...

Charles Hamilton and Bean Lebouc team up for a brand new project titled 'THE RE:IMAGINED MR. HAMILTON' through 'United Elementz' Bandcamp and released in association with 'The Talented Mr. Hamilton'!!!  The 5-track EP has Bean adding his own 'Re:Imagined' spin to the Talented Mr. Hamilton's tracks to create a completely different vibe to them.  Bean takes advantage of Charles unique, rough, vocal recording process to bring out a deeper feeling to Charles material.  For those who don't know Charles Hamilton is one of Hip-Hop's most creative, and talented, minds!!!  He was a real standout during Hip-Hop's phenomenal 'Blog Era', in the late 2000's/early 2010's, alongside the likes of J. Despite being only in his teens CRK drops a project that beyond his years from a lyrical point of view. The beat selection is on another level as well. J-Fab M.O.V recently teamed up with, DJ and Producer, Dirty Needlz to revisit his debut album, from 2011, 'The Beginning' in the form of 'The Beginning Re-Started'!!! The project has Dirty Needlz putting his own production against M.O.V's classic vocals to create a dope new take on the records. One of the highlights, from the album, however has Needlz digging into his DJ bag with a killer remix of J-Fab's, swahili classic, 'Mashini' which sees Fab's vocals paired with Beenie Man's, 1998 classic, 'Who Am I' to create a certified banger for the Hip-Hop/R&B/Dancehall nights in the months to come!!! RAW ELEMENTZ have announced today that, DJ and Producer, Dirty Needlz will be taking on the role of Music Content Manager for the United Elementz brand!!! This position will see Needlz overlooking music content across United Elementz digital streaming platforms such as Bandcamp, Soundcloud and the United Elementz Network's Mixcloud channel!!! Needlz has a great ear for dope Hip-Hop as well as an extensive knowledge of the genre, and culture, that should serve him, and United Elementz, very well going forward!!! The 'Street Skills Summer Jam' returns, after a 6 year hiatus, to bid farewell to the North Quay Skatepark in St Helier, Jersey, for a 2-day showcase, on September 3rd and 4th, of Jersey Hip-Hop's best MC's, DJ's, Breakdancers, Graffiti Artists and Skaters!!! The event had a successful 3-year run with the inaugural one, in 2014, becoming the first ever 2-day Urban culture based event in the island's history. The event is free so make sure to come down and enjoy the Hip-Hop culture, in all it's glory, and say your final goodbyes to, the legendary, North Quay Skatepark for one last jam!!!
