Teaming up with KAYTRANADA and 03 Greedo the new single is a bit more bouncy than his usual releases but, in all honesty, it works and sets the tone for what will be undoubtedly another classic from Mach!!! Most rappers have had to re-think their releases due to Kendrick and Drake's back and forth however we think those two should take a rest for this week!!! Gustavo Louis is what R.A.W Culture is all about!!! Gustavo is a Hip-Hop artist, from Hempstead, New York, who spits raw bars over dusty soul loops and rocks Lucha Libre masks whilst doing it!!! Listening to Gustavo's track 'Uncle Jheri Curl' gave us the same feeling we got when we heard Westside Gunn, for the first time, on 'Mr. T'. Whilst rappers rhyming over soulful loops isn't something new there is something about the way Gustavo flows over them that makes him stand out from other artists that do it. If your a fan of the new wave of underground Hip-Hop and artists such as Westside Gunn, Roc Marciano, Knowledge The Pirate, Hus Kingpin and Mach-Hommy then Gustavo Louis is right up your street!!!
