Bay Ragni and Joel Goodhart announce Tri-State Wrestling Alliance's 'One & Done' at the 2300 Arena!!!


Before we start let's just put it out there that if it wasn't for the TWA (Tri-State Wrestling Alliance) there would be no ECW!!! 

TWA presented a mix of technical and hardcore wrestling, in Philadelphia, long before Tod Gordon and Paul Heyman did with Eastern/Extreme Championship Wrestling. 

Whilst Joel Goodhart is a remembered figure, within the Pro Wrestling business, he is no where near as celebrated, for his contributions, as much as Gordon and Heyman are in terms of giving the landscape of Professional Wrestling a truly unique alternative to the national companies of the day (WWF and WCW/NWA) and for shining a spotlight on Philly as a hotspot for some of the best, and wildest, wrestling around!!! 

So with that out the way it has been announced that former TWA and ECW star Bay 'EZ Ryder'/'Chubby Dudley' Ragni and Joel Goodhart have joined forces to truly celebrate the stars of the TWA by announcing that, on May 3rd, 2025, the promotion will return for one last show titled 'One & Done' which will be held at the, world famous, 2300 Arena!!! 

This show will be a great opportunity for fans to finally understand the importance of the TWA and how it played a role in the birth of ECW!!! 

33 years after the promotion closed it's doors they will return to let the Pro Wrestling know why they deserve the same, if not more, recognition than the land of Extreme it contributed to creating!!!

The Rise & Fall Of Mike Awesome: The WWE Years

Mike Awesome's run in WWF/E was a huge flop!!! It's a pretty sad way to start off but, sadly, it's a fact. Awesome's WCW contract was absorbed, as a part of WWF's purchase of WCW on March 23rd 2001, and, to be fair, his run started off pretty strong with a victory over Rhyno for the WWF Hardcore title, on June 25th 2001, which made him the first WCW 'invader' to capture a WWF title. Shortly after that Awesome (kind of) re-joined ECW as a part of 'The Alliance' stable (alongside WCW), on July 9th 2001, and had started a feud with Edge which lead to a match between Awesome and Lance Storm facing Edge and Christian at WWF's 'InVasion' PPV, on July 22nd, and then, well, nothing.
