Chucky Edwards Presents Chucky's Report #2 - True Duology!!!

What's good everybody!!! 'Chucky's Report' is back once again!!! 

I appreciate that I said this last year, but life got in the way, and this time around I plan on releasing at least one per month. 

For the first one, of 2025, I'm featuring an Alternative music duo who go by the name 'True Duology' 

'True Duology' consists of artists from the opposite sides of the world. One from the USA called Cazniac and the other from the UK called ClarkyArtist!!! 

They recently released their Debut EP, in December 2024, called 'Par Verum Musicorum', which is available on all major platforms, with link available at the bottom of the page!!! 

Fun fact 'Par Verum Musicorum' is Latin for "A true pair of musicians". They have said they chose this name to represent their overall ability as genre-blending artists which I find really cool and a very unique title for a project. 

I have been a fan of their individual music, for a long time, so when I found out they were going to release a joint EP I knew it wouldn't disappoint!!! 

So this particular project combines so many different genres such as Alternative, Rap, Rock, Nu-Metal, Soul and more. They have meshed it all together perfectly and to me it just showcases thier passion to keep pushing the boundaries of music. 

Each track on the album is so different to the other and that's what makes it so easy to listen to. There is something for every music fan. I know for me personally it'll be in heavy rotation throughout the year. 

I have to admit it makes me excited to see the levels that they will be able take it to going into the future. 

For this next segment I will be conducting an interview with 'True Duology' to dive further into what makes them who they are. 

Chucky Edwards - My first first question for you is what got you into creating music together and at what moment did you know it was time to form a group?  

True Duology - We first started creating music together in 2018 when we were both featured on a track titled 'GoreFest' alongside other artists we had worked with on prior projects. After several collaborations, between 2018 and 2022, we realized how well we complemented each other's work, both on and off the mic, as well as our shared passion for genre blending which made it clear that forming a group was the next logical step. 

CE - What has been the biggest highlight of your musical adventure together so far?  

TD - Releasing our debut EP and hitting over 2,000 streams in just one month was definitely a major highlight. Collaborating with some amazing, and diverse, artists along the way has also been incredibly rewarding. 

CE - So this is a two part question. Firstly what has been your favourite track to work on and secondly what was the most difficult song to make?  

TD - Our favorite track to work on has to be 'System Reboot [Renegades]' which was our debut into the Alternative Nu-Metal/Rap-Metal genre. It was a collaboration with, South London artist, Kid Bookie and the creative process was incredible. The most difficult song to make was 'Up & Away' because achieving the perfect sync while living on opposite sides of the world presented some unique challenges. 

CE - If you were to achieve your dream collaboration which artist would this be with?  

TD - Either Tech N9ne or Blink-182. 

CE - So for the final question do you have any future plans when it comes to music? 

TD - Absolutely! We have projects planned all the way through to 2027 with the first one dropping this March. Stay tuned for more exciting music on the horizon!
